Rock on, you two! Always a joy to hear your words of insight and experience. Any thoughts on how your girls mesh their home experience with that of their friends, whose parents expect no contribution and still do for their children what their children are capable of?

Thanks! Great question! Our girls know that this program is outside the norm, but it makes so much sense that it doesn’t matter. Mostly they just watch other families with wide eyes and I think it makes them appreciate the PoT approach even more. For example, I’ve heard them say (more than once), “Mom, so-and-so needs the parenting class, bad!” or “Our mom isn’t like other moms.” So they know exactly what’s going on and what the difference is and why, sometimes even more than I do!

I came your way after listening to the program. I am now going back and reading your past posts. This parenting “style” is intriguing to me.

THANK-YOU FOR THE SUPPORT. I ‘VE KNOWN ALL MY LIFE THAT CHILDREN SHOULD HAVE A BIGGG SAY IN THEIR OWN LIVES. THEY ARE GREAT
